This year, the Light Festival in Ghent, Belgium, was showcase to the Luminaire De Cagna LED-light display which drew in over half a million people. The Italian family has been in the light display business since the 1930′s but have switched to LED lights in 2006. This project consisted of over 55,000 LED lights but used only 20 kWh of energy. Vegas, eat your heart out.

The RZArectah gets his own action figure fresh off his stint in the “what, they made a sequel?” to G.I. Joe. In the film, Bob Digi plays the Blind Master, a member of the Arashikage Ninja Clan that Storm Shadow and Snake-Eyes belong to (pictured left and right, respectively).

The FALL Gallery (644 Seymour St.) is the new host to a show that will immortalize the one they call Bill Murray in a variety of mediums including illustrations, stencils, knittings and, what I hope most to see, interpretive dance.
Christina Chant and her posse are open to any and every type of art form so please get your works ready and submit them to billmurraylove@gmail.com by February 1st. The show drops February 18th!

And, of course, his latest:
And, my fave:
On January 8th, street photographer Stephen Goodman made a special visit to Gastown Tattoo [105 W. Cordova St]. His outer forearm would be emblazoned with the word “Eastvan,” a dedication to the hood that continues to inspire him. Watch the brisk evening of ink, blood and animal skulls below.
Tattoo by Ashley Doherty of Gastown Tattoo Parlour.
Eastvan script design by Rob Geary of Welcome To Eastvan.
Music provided by Mike Decline. Look out for his upcoming release Calmmunicate coming this January 27th, 2012 on Phonographique.
You would have to have paid attention to a lot of movies before even beginning to set this up. Propers to ant1mat3rie.
Taken from BBC.
A little update of some of the deliveries and moves that The East Van has assisted with lately.
