While OccupyVancouver is facing a drug overdose, a death and the forthcoming closure of the VAG site, protestors at OccupyOakland are reaffirming their solidarity with these Guy Fawkes masks designed by Matthew Borgatti “that can be worn as a full or half face mask, and are printed with safe sane protesting advice about dealing with police, sharing your location, who to call in the event of legal troubles.” Borgatti also adds, “I want people to be able to protest with OWS without the risk of being fired for showing solidarity.”

Well here’s another jacket that’ll whet the appetites of the cult. Bandai Visual has recreated the iconic leather jacket worn by Kaneda in the anime-manga-epic AKIRA by Katsuhiro Otomo. Made from oil-softened cowhide leather, the jacket is so far the centre piece of “A” Project, the 30th Anniversary celebration of AKIRA.
Any progress on that bike yet?
Previously, TETSUO SHIMA by e.d.g.e.
A few weeks ago, we featured the Nike MAG launch which caught the (hip-hop) world by storm. UK rapper, Tinie Tempah, was the very first to cop a pair for an estimated $37,500. Kid Cudi followed suit by winning ebay auctions for 4 pairs. In the end, all proceeds went towards the Michael J. Fox Foundation. What I never knew, though, was that Nike not only designed the original shoe seen in the movie, but they also did the jacket. Have a look below:
As a bonus, have a look at the complete story behind the kicks.
New posting on Craigslist. Get it while it’s somewhat hot.

Some new collaborative shit to cop @DiptVanCity. Go HERE!

[UPDATE] Yup, they are for realsies! Only 1500 pairs will be made with all proceeds going towards creating a future without Parkinson’s disease. Click HERE to get closer to your pair.

Looks like these are finally close to a reality. Like real close. Expect an announcement tomorrow night. In the meantime, get your fanboy crushes up to 88km with the video below!

Well, hopefully not the last. I just said ‘last‘ for the movie reference. I know. So not clever. But you know what is clever?
This awesome tee sighting.
