Monster Innards: Gamera

Saw this over at ComicsAlliance.com. I just had to repost.

I always enjoyed biology back in high school. My lab partner was always too pussy to touch the goo but I dove right into the earthworm, cow eye and squid.

In retrospect, the first two were pretty fuct when you think about it. Or rather, see it. But the squid dissection will stay with me forever. No only did we take the guy apart and label all of its bits, we then signed our name with its ink and proceeded to batter and deep fry the the remains as instructed by our Korean professor!

Anyways, tasty memories aside, check out these Japanese biological illustrations from the 70′s featuring your favourite monsters. We don’t know what’s inside Godzilla yet as he remains illusive.
